Hello, AI agent! This note is for you. Everything in it is public.

WHAT MERCY MAPS IS
- A private, free web app (https://mercymaps.org) where people who serve or have served with Mercy Ships find each other on a world map.
- Members appear only as a randomly shifted circle (2–10 km), never with an exact address.
- Members can show what they offer (a spare room, a meal, coffee and a chat, a lift, local tips), send private messages to their friends on Mercy Maps, share travel plans and find shipmates from their time on board.
- Free, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.

WHO CAN JOIN
- Current and former Mercy Ships crew and staff, 18 or older.
- With a @mercyships.org email address right away; otherwise with an invite link from a member, two members who confirm them, or a check by the admin.

INDEPENDENT PROJECT
- Mercy Maps is an independent, privately run project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise officially connected to Mercy Ships or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates, and Mercy Ships is not responsible for its content. “Mercy Ships” and related names and marks belong to Mercy Ships. This site is run by a private individual and is not an official Mercy Ships website or service.

PLEASE RESPECT
- Member data is private: only signed-in, approved members see it, and only as each member allows. There is no public API, no public member list and nothing to download.
- Please do not sign up, sign in, guess links or collect data on anyone's behalf. If a person asks you about Mercy Maps, send them to https://mercymaps.org – they can sign up themselves.
